2012 Impact Fund
Sparking Innovation & Improving Access to Outdoor Experiences
The Impact Fund is designed to support youth-serving organizations with the resources they need to get underserved youth connected to the outdoors. This round of funding is only open to organizations whose annual operating budgets are more than $250,000. If your organization has an annual operating budget of less than $250,000 you may not apply to the Impact Fund; you are eligible to apply to the Catalyst Fund. Please note this is a change from our previous years. These grants have the potential to provide resources to overcome some of the obstacles and barriers identified in the Foundation for Youth Investment’s background research. In particular, these funds have the potential for improving access to high-quality outdoor experiences, enhancing the cultural relevancy of the programming offered by the grant-seeking organization, or creating an innovative approach to reaching this population. These funds may be used for, but are not limited to, dedicated programming or operations, program staff, program development, and capacity building.
